i came home from my trip and all of a sudden it's almost 2 weeks later already ;O

what a trip, first of all. almost didnt get to rent my car, because i didnt have enough coverage on my insurance. called my aunt, she fixed it. then the bank took my money but didnt intend to let me use it :\ win. so it took over an hour to figure that out...i was late to work, etc. etc. cried my eyes out in the bank because i just wanted everything to work out....eventually it did. but then i was exhausted.
my boss never lets me gtfo of work on time. i dont know if that's more my fault or his, but /shrug it seems like there's always one more thing to do. so i got out of work about 30-40 minutes late. my aunt offered to let me borrow her gps but i didnt want to go all the way to her house .... but i changed my mind and decided it might be useful. went to her house for half an hour or so. acquired gps.
went home and felt retarded. i didnt want to spend the next 12-20 hours driving D: so i lazed around for awhile. casually packed (which i wanted to do in the a.m. but didnt have time to), went to get into the car and the keys were missing. after frantically searching for about 20 minutes, i woke up my mom and dad to help me, and found them hanging on the vacuum cleaner in the middle of the hallway. score! :\
i finally started driving and decided i should buy some caffeine and nicotene and such things so i stopped in town again, bought some pop tarts and cans of amp or monster and a coffee. the dunkin donuts guy wouldnt stfu and give me my coffee and forced me to take some food for free, so i settled on hash browns, thinking they would be the usual cardboard style potato deliciousness like what you get at mcdonalds at 5am. WRONG! they were like miniature(?inorite?) tater tots with ONIONS D: i wasnt sure the first time i tasted them but then i tasted another one and it was definitely onions :B gross! it was the worst. so i ordered a large coffee and he also gave me like a xxl one....anyway it was after 11pm before i started driving.
i think i made it toooooooooooooooo......new york before i had to pee. or new jersey. then on the jersey turnpike the gps i borrowed from my aunt got at least 100 errors and i was glad that i had at least written down directions from googlemaps.
DRIVING TAKES A LONG TIME.
VIRGINIA IS
FOR VIRGINS. BIG. and they enforce your speed limit with AIRCRAFT. i want to know how the fuck that works! do they like
dive bomb you? in the middle of the highway? for speeding?
anyway i finally hit 85 and i was like woot now i just have to get to exit 81. i was in north carolina at exit 100 or something...and i was thinking hmmm.....either these states got a lot smaller or i forgot something. T-T
i forgot that the highway exit numbering starts over at the beginning of the state D:
so i made it almost to spartanburg and some asshole in a giant orange truck towing an even more giant trailer allowed the trailer to fishtail for a few miles before he finally rolled it over across 4 lanes of traffic. i pulled over and called 911...the guy looked miserable. i can only imagine how expensive that trailer was D: and who knows what was inside it! it might have been a camper type thing. lucky me, i was the next person behind him so it was not too much of a clusterfuck when i pulled back onto the road from the shoulder. there was however only 1/2 a lane open for traffic.
finally get to atlanta, but spend a good 30 minutes or more in traffic. didnt find the right exit due to construction or shitty directions from google. i eventually drove by *
windfalcon like 3 times and during that time the "maintenence required" light came on in the car. all it meant was that the car needed an oil change...BUT WHY COULD THE THREE PEOPLE I TALKED TO ON THE PHONE NOT CONFIDENTLY TELL ME THAT. i went a few places, we finally made it to firestone, they changed the oil, and we headed back to the dorm room to shower and change and get ready to (belatedly) meet =
ladydove7 and crew for halloween on the town.
didnt have time for food, the kitchen was closed at the 2nd place and the 1st place was crowded. did have time for booze, and the waitress dropped the fiery spoon from my hot buttered rum on herself D: she caught on fire! poor thing, she was so cute D: and on fire. luckily she wasnt burned and neither was her dress. i wonder why all asian ladies look good in those polyester cheong sam style dresses.
proceeded to drink a few drinks, then pay almost twice as much as i owed because (i think) a couple people didnt realize that they figured in gratuity with the total bill, and things were being calculated by the individual drinks and nobody added the tip on properly. $45+18%=/=$50. owell i was told about some cool game and i already forgot the name of it. it's from iceland...oh i found it

anyway! we went out, we went back to watch some anime and ate some delicious hallows eve treats and i fell asleep somewhere and then woke up at 7 to go back to atlanta. napped for a bit. drove to .... the bank! and got more money, then got some stuff, then got lost in u of atlanta during a football game, and then drove to north carolina. gaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah LONG DRIVE WAS LONG.

AgnosticPriest & crew's home, napped, hung out more, got newd, laid on a table. table was uncomfortable! i wish i had brought some extra fabric to place under my hips and neck...we had some pillows but they weren't *quite* the right shape or size for me so i ended up having some flaps of neck skin and blobs of ass/thigh fat that stuck out unevenly in some of the photos. c'est la vie. a perfectionist D: lucky not everyone thinks the way that i do.
afterwards, the music got loud and the lights went down and someone brought out glow paint. things were interesting. i wont go into detail for the sake of privacy, but i did have to make a side trip or 2 or 3 on my way home to connecticut the next day in order to relieve some tension that had built up from the weekend @_#
we went to the dorm again and slept for awhile. i feel like i didnt sleep at all that weekend. i started the long drive home with a few stops here and there, then as i was on the final stretch my dad and mom called and suggested that i take an alternate route home, since the gps was telling me it would be 2 or 3 more hours before i got home and it was like 10pm. i took their advice, and 3am rolled around as i was driving on 84E through new york, hallucinating from exhaustion and fog and i decided to pull over and sleep for a few hours in EAST FISHKILL
slept really shitty. drove home around 9am, it took a couple hours. it sucked. i got home and felt like crap, showered, returned the car, had to wait forever for them to take me back home, got home, was late for work. my little shitty car was so cozy and comfortable to sit in after sitting in the most uncomfortable car in the world all weekend.
so all in all it was fun
but it took me another week to get a day off and i still haven't caught up on my sleep :F since i stayed up late, and then had to get up early to work in the morning for my boss whose dad died, and then was buried the next day(today). ugh i hate mornings, unless i'm seeing them from the ass-end of my day as i am right now.
in other news, hopefully i'll be going to norway for new year. if i sacrifice a few beers and a few comforts (like variety in my diet D
then i'll make it there with a bit of cash to spare. too bad the dollar is still pretty low :\ but actually apparently it's not. it's up to 7nok per usd.... and also my wow sub was like 17 bucks last month but this month it's only 13 :3 cheaper than american wow!
and i am out of fuel now, what a long entry @_#
in summation, thanks everyone for being wonderful people and such <3 faith in humanity slightly restored. slightly taken away again by things that happened this past weekend, but that is a story for another time.
